Terms of Service

Last updated: June 4, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Citheon website and services. By using our site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

Citheon provides AI visibility services, also known as Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), including audits, monitoring, and optimization intended to improve how a client's business appears in AI-generated answers. The specific scope of any engagement is defined in the plan you select or a separate written agreement.

2. No guarantee of results

AI engines are operated by third parties and change their models, ranking signals, and outputs frequently and without notice. While we apply established methods to improve AI visibility, we do not control these platforms and cannot guarantee any specific ranking, citation, placement, traffic, or revenue outcome. Any examples, statistics, or projections are illustrative and not promises of results.

3. Client responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information and, where applicable, timely access to your website, content, or accounts necessary for us to perform the services. You represent that you have the authority to grant such access and that our work will not violate any third-party rights.

4. Fees and payment

Fees for audits and subscription plans are as stated at the time of purchase. Subscription plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. One-time audit fees are charged at the time of order. Unless otherwise stated in writing, fees are non-refundable once work has commenced. You may cancel a recurring plan at any time; cancellation stops future billing and takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, design, graphics, and the Citheon name and marks, is owned by Citheon or its licensors and protected by applicable law. Deliverables produced for a client may be used by that client for their own business purposes; our underlying methods, tools, and templates remain our property.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site or services, including by attempting to disrupt them, reverse-engineer our methods, or use them for unlawful purposes.

7. Third-party platforms

Our services interact with third-party AI engines and tools. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, policies, or actions of those third parties.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Citheon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising from or related to the services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The services and website are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Citheon harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the services.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the services for any breach of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Citheon is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The specific governing jurisdiction and dispute-resolution venue will be confirmed in your service agreement.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Contact

These Terms are provided as a general template and do not constitute legal advice. Have them reviewed and adapted by qualified counsel for your jurisdiction and business before relying on them.
